Three-time award-winner of “40 under 40” most influential mortgage professionals in the country—all before the age of 30—Jeff VanNote is a champion in every sense of the word. He was only 20 years old when he entered the real estate market at the most challenging point in its recorded history during the 2007 economic collapse while doing deals in one of the most hard-hit locations, the Bronx. It was within this fire of adversity that VanNote’s remarkable and unprecedented success was forged.

A born competitor with football in his blood—with his uncle and namesake playing for the Atlanta Falcons in the 1970’s—VanNote was also busy continuing in this tradition, playing competitively for Fordham University. When he was cut abruptly and without notice, his dream of playing in the NFL ended while his greatest achievement of becoming “The Mortgage Quarterback” began.

In the past decade, VanNote has closed more than 1,000 clients, equating to more than $400 million of residential and commercial mortgages by applying the same mentality, experience and commitment to the mortgage market as he did to the football field. Along the way, he authored the highly acclaimed “The Mortgage Playbook for Millennials” and also started the popular “Deposit That” podcast featuring luminaries of the field.
